Selaković: Serbia is proud of its friendship with India

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, met today, on the sidelines of the gathering marking the 60th anniversary of the first conference of the Non-Aligned Movement, with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of India, Meenakashi Lekhi.

Selaković thanked the guest for responding to the invitation to participate in this important commemorative gathering in Belgrade, expressing satisfaction with the fact that for the second time in just a month he has had the opportunity to speak with her about deepening bilateral relations between our two countries.

According to Minister Selaković, Serbia and India have a great potential for further development of economic relations, but also for strengthening political ties through the continuation of contacts at high and highest levels, as well as through regular consultations between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs.

On this occasion, Minister Selaković expressed his gratitude to India for its consistent support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia and loyalty to the principles of international law.

As he pointed out, Serbia is proud of its friendship with India, and we are convinced that the relations between the two countries will continue to develop in the spirit of sincere cooperation and mutual support.
