Minister Đurić thanks Brazil for principled support on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija

On the margins of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Đurić met with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Ambassador Maria Laura da Rocha.

During the meeting held in Antigua and Barbuda, Minister Đurić emphasized Serbia’s commitment to strengthening overall ties with Brazil, noting that Brazil is one of Serbia’s most important political and economic partners in Latin America.

The Serbian Foreign Minister expressed particular gratitude to Brazil for its principled support regarding the preservation of Serbia’s territorial integrity and briefed his interlocutor on the current situation and the position of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija.

The two sides also discussed the strengthening of economic relations and opportunities for enhanced investment cooperation.

On this occasion, Minister Đurić reiterated the invitation to Brazil to take part in the specialized exhibition Expo 2027, expressing hope that the country will soon confirm its participation in this prestigious event.
