Minister Dačić’s condolence message on the occasion of the India train accident

On the occasion of the terrible train accident in India, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dačić, expressed his sincere condolences to his Indian colleague Subramanyam Jaishankar.

“It is with great sadness and regret that we received the news about the terrible train accident in the east of India, in which many people were killed.

On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and on my behalf, I offer my deepest condolences, which I ask you to convey to the families of victims, and to the injured, wishes for a speedy recovery, in the hope that the activities aimed at rescuing the endangered will be completed successfully and in the shortest possible time.

Although it’s hard to find the right words right now to comfort the families of the victims, I assure you that the Republic of Serbia deeply sympathises in your pain and shares sorrow with the friendly people of India.

At this particularly difficult time for your country, please accept, your Excellency, the assurance of my highest esteem,“ it was stated in the condolence message of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dačić.
