Marko Đurić Meets with Students of Clemson University

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Marko Đurić met today with students of the American Clemson University as part of a programme which for the past twenty years has brought together students and lecturers with the aim of fostering academic exchange and discussions on global political and social issues.

Addressing the students, who were guests of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, Đurić spoke about Serbia’s foreign policy priorities, contemporary geopolitical issues, and present-day Serbian-American relations.

The head of Serbian diplomacy emphasized that Serbia remains committed to developing partnerships and strengthening relations with the United States, underlining the importance of educational and academic cooperation as one of the key bridges connecting young people and institutions of the two countries.

During the lecture, discussions also focused on regional stability, economic development, and Serbia’s position in the international arena. In the continuation of today’s meeting, Minister Đurić spoke with the students about the role of diplomacy in the contemporary world, as well as topics in which they expressed particular interest.
