Jović Receives Ambassador of Mexico on Farewell Call

During the meeting, the traditionally friendly relations between Serbia and Mexico, founded on mutual respect and understanding, were reaffirmed. The interlocutors recalled that Serbia and Mexico are marking the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year, noting that this important milestone provides further impetus to the continued advancement of bilateral cooperation.

Particular emphasis was placed on the mutual commitment to intensifying economic cooperation in the period ahead, as well as to further strengthening ties in other areas of common interest.

State Secretary Jović thanked Ambassador Félix Corona for his contribution to the development and advancement of relations between Serbia and Mexico during his tenure, as well as for the successful cooperation.
