Jovanović confers with the Ambassador of Sweden

In a constructive and cordial meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations and readiness to further enhance cooperation. Ambassador Sammelin thanked for the warm reception and underlined Sweden’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Serbia, as well as its continued support for Serbia’s path toward European integration.

State Secretary Jovanović reaffirmed that membership in the European Union remains a strategic priority of the Republic of Serbia. In this context, the interlocutors discussed the challenges Serbia faces in the EU accession process, as well as opportunities to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
