Jovanović Confers with the Ambassador of Romania

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nevena Jovanović, met today with the Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Serbia, Silvia Davidoiu.
The interlocutors reviewed current aspects of bilateral relations between Serbia and Romania, jointly assessing them as traditionally good and friendly, with significant potential for further enhancement.
Particular attention was devoted to the process of European Union integration of the Republic of Serbia, as well as to the importance of support from EU Member States in that process.
The two officials also discussed opportunities to further strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy, infrastructure, energy, and cross-border cooperation, emphasizing the importance of implementing joint projects.
