23. May 2023.
The First Vice-President of the Government of Serbia and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić received today the non-resident Ambassador of Rwanda to the Republic of Serbia, based in Moscow, Lieutenant General Frank Mushyo Kamanzi, who presented his credentials to the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić on Monday.

Minister Dačić wished the Ambassador a warm and sincere welcome and successful and pleasant stay in Serbia.  He expressed satisfaction with his presence at the commemorative meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement.  Furthermore, Dačić also expressed his expectation that now that he was officially accredited in Serbia, he would have the opportunity to visit our country more frequently.

Both parties pointed out that Serbia and Rwanda were bound by traditional friendship and cooperation, which emerged in the crucial moments of struggle within the Non-Aligned Movement.  They jointly assessed that the political dialogue of the two countries would be intensified.  They also underscored the joint commitment to develop overall bilateral cooperation in the coming period.

The Head of Serbian diplomacy thanked for the principled and consistent support to the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia, which Rwanda confirms with its persistent firm position on the non-recognition of “Kosovo”.
