Dačić meets Head of Polish Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dačić, received earlier today in a courtesy visit Polish Delegation led by Head of the Polish Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, Radoslaw Fogiel.

At the meeting it was found that bilateral relations are particularly good. Minister Dačić said that the Republic of Serbia is trying to keep the relations with the Republic of Poland as close as possible and said that we will continue to work together to deepen cooperation in all areas of common interest. On the other hand, the Polish party reiterated its support to the Republic of Serbia on its way to membership in the European Union and announced the opening of the Polish Cultural Centre in Belgrade. The importance of further improvement of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries was particularly emphasised.

Furthermore, the situation in Kosovo and Metohija as well as current international issues were discussed. Additionally, the interlocutors agreed in their assessment that there are numerous possibilities for the improvement of all forms of cooperation of mutual interest.
