Warsaw: Ambassador Košutić's visit to the Podlaskie Voivodeship

07. Dec 2022.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Poland, Nebojsa Košutić, visited the Podlaskie Voivodeship and its capital, Bialystok, where he met with Duke Bohdan Paškovski, Vice-Marshal of the Regional Parliament Sebastjan Lukašević and Mayor of Bialystok Tadeusz Truskolaski.

Ambassador Košutić also met with the leadership of the regional chamber of commerce, one of which most prominent members is the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Bialystok, Jaroslav Antihovič.

He also visited an Orthodox primary school and met with the parish priest of the Polish Orthodox Church in this city (where around 80,000 Orthodox Christians live) Michal Chikwin.

The interlocutors considered deepening the already good cooperation of this region of Poland with Serbia. This primarily refers to the organisation of a business forum where entrepreneurs from this region and our country would participate, achieving closer cooperation between the city of Bialystok and one of the cities in Serbia, as well as educational and cultural cooperation between schools and universities in this Polish region with corresponding partners in the Republic of Serbia.
