Moscow: Ambassador Babić with participants of the “Serbia in my heart” competition

Serbian Ambassador to Russia Momčilo Babić met with participants of the “Serbia in my heart” competition. This was the twelfth yearly gathering of pupils and students from various Russian regions at the Serbian Embassy in Moscow, to exhibit works with motifs of Serbia and Russia, and recite and perform songs by Serbian and Russian authors.
Ambassador Babić addressed the participants and pointed out that this event brings together the friends of Serbia and strengthens the cultural and spiritual ties of the two nations.
Along with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, diplomats, journalists, teachers and professors, the event was attended by students of the Supplementary School of Serbian Language “St. George” in Moscow, including a twelve-year-old Pavlina Radovanović who performed at the Victory Day celebration event on May 9 in Moscow.
The competition is organised by the Association of Russian-Serbian Friendship and the Union of Russian Writers, with the support of the Serbian Embassy in Russia.
