China: Kandijaš with the governor of the Xinjiang region

Temporary chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Beijing, Ivan Kandijaš, went on a visit to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, where he spoke with the Governor of that region, Shohrat Zakir.
On that occasion, Governor Zakir presented the achievements of the Xinjiang region and the life of national minorities in it, and especially emphasized the strategic importance of the region as a political, economic, educational and transport center on the Silk Road and the Eurasian continent.
