Bucharest: Ambassador Tomašević met with the President of Romania

In the presidential palace of Cotroceni, President of Romania Klaus Iohannis addressed the heads of diplomatic missions in Bucharest, reviewing the most important events of 2022 and presenting the priorities of Romania's foreign policy in the current year.
Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Bucharest Stefan Tomašević, in a conversation with President Iohannis, pointed out Serbia's determination to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with Romania, implying future exchange of visits at a high and top level. He particularly stressed Serbia's commitment to preserving peace and stability and emphasised gratitude for Romania's principled, international law-based and consistent position on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.
