Political relations
On 4 May 2017 the Government of the Republic of Serbia established 25 May as the Day of Friendship with the Peoples of Africa.
Relations with Benin are insufficiently developed. Good cooperation was achieved during the active participation of Serbia in the Non-Aligned Movement.
Economic relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the total trade exchange with Benin in 2025 amounted to €587 thousands, all of which referred to exports from the Republic of Serbia with no imports.
