Bilateral Political Consultations Between Serbia and Mongolia

Bilateral political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia were held today in Ulaanbaatar.

In the spirit of traditional friendship and mutual respect, State Secretaries Damjan Jović and Lkhanaajav Munkhtushig reviewed current aspects of bilateral relations, as well as opportunities for their further enhancement in the fields of economy, trade, mining, agriculture, culture, education, modern technologies, and contractual and legal cooperation.

The importance of further strengthening institutional ties and direct contacts between the two friendly countries was emphasized, as was the continuation of regular political consultations. Readiness to deepen political dialogue was reaffirmed, and forthcoming bilateral activities were discussed in the year marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on current regional and international issues of mutual interest, underscoring the importance of respect for the principles of international law, peace, stability, and multilateral cooperation.

The consultations were held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, with special appreciation expressed to the Mongolian side for its continued support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.
