Ambassador Perišić met with several ministers of Equatorial Guinea

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Angola, Miloš Perišić, who is also our ambassador on a non-residential basis in Equatorial Guinea, met with several officials of that country, with whom he stated that Serbia and Equatorial Guinea have traditionally friendly relations and that there is mutual interest in further strengthening of cooperation.

Ambassador Perišić had the opportunity to talk with the minister of foreign affairs of Equatorial Guinea, the minister of defense, the minister of health and the minister of agriculture.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Equatorial Guinea, Simeón Angue, thanked Serbia for the scholarships it gives to students from that country and confirmed his arrival at the Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, which will be held in Belgrade in October.

The Minister of Defense, Victoriano Okomo, pointed out that his country is very interested in improving cooperation in the field of defense with the Republic of Serbia and announced the arrival of a delegation at the Partner Exhibition 2021 in Belgrade.

During his stay in Malabo, where he presented his credentials to President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Ambassador Perišić also visited Serbian construction companies operating in Equatorial Guinea and expressed Serbia's readiness to help them obtain new engagements.
