Political relations

Relations between Serbia and Uzbekistan are good and friendly, without open issues. Both sides express interest in exchanging visits and more frequent meetings between officials of the two countries.

Economic relations

According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the total trade exchange with Uzbekistan in 2025 amounted to €37.7 million, of which €23.6 million referred to exports from the Republic of Serbia and €14.1 million to imports.

Serbia mainly exports to Uzbekistan built-in materials for finishing works in construction from wood, glass and metal, as well as furniture, calcium phosphates, marble, corn, etc. On the other hand, Serbia mainly imports from Uzbekistan cotton and beans.

Bilateral agreements

The plan is to sign several interstate agreements with the Uzbek side in the following period.

Serbia and Uzbekistan have signed only one bilateral agreement so far, and that is the Agreement on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations.
