Political dialogue of moderate intensity has existed since 2001. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selaković paid a bilateral visit to the Sovereign Order of Malta on October 19th , 2021 (the first visit by a Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs).
