Political relations
Political relations are based on the tradition of cooperation between the former SFRY and Malawi within the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries.
Malawi Parliament Speaker C. G. Hara participated in the work of the 141st session of the IPU Assembly, which was held in October 2019 in Belgrade.
Economic relations
In 2019, exports from the Republic of Serbia to Malawi were worth 1.000 euros, while imports from Malawi amounted to 979.000 euros.
