Political relations

Political relations between Serbia and Armenia are traditionally good and friendly. Both countries are interested in continuation and development of their bilateral relations and cooperation in all areas of common interest.

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, visited Serbia from 3 to 6 October 2019. The then President of the Republic of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolić, visited Armenia in April 2015.

The delegation of the National Assembly of Armenia led by the President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, visited Serbia from 9 to 11 March 2020.

Economic relations

According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the total trade exchange with Armenia in 2025 amounted to €7.2 million, of which €5.7 million referred to exports from the Republic of Serbia and €1.5 million to imports.

Bilateral agreements

The Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Armenia concluded 10 international bilateral treaties.

The most important bilateral agreements are:

Agreement on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation;

Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital.
